Flying N Fox Trotters with locales in both Utah and Idaho offers the discerning horseman something different. Over the years, Flying N has developed a Western Fox Trotter, a horse with its foundation in the Missouri Fox Trotter, with a twist. We took a good thing and made it better through careful decision making, responsible breeding practices, and genetic research. Our goal was to add value to the existing fox trotter horse market and to increase the opportunities for individuals to enjoy their horses through a variety of activities.
Our breeding program is one of the best and the horses we produce are a cut above. With the extraordinary combination of stallions and mares we produce get with intelligence, ability, and beauty. They are dependable mounts with superior dispositions. The colts possess the conformation for the type of performance and gait our customers are searching for. And, they are a good looking horse, eye-catching and beautiful.
Through a specialized young horse development program, our yearlings, two and three year olds, are ready for placement. We offer our customers a rare opportunity to enjoy their investment in a gentle companion that is confident, responsive, and connected. We prime our young prospects to be dependable and prepared. The success of the program has proven significant in that many of our customers specifically request a “Flying N Trained” horse, one with a good working foundation.
Flying N has trained and produced numerous World Grand Champions in the show ring. We are proud of their accomplishments. They have demonstrated their win-ability in the model, gait, and versatility classes. But, that is only a small part of what we do.
Our horses are honest, steadfast trail horses who partner well with their human companions. Some of our customers are cattlemen in the intermountain west who work their horses day long cutting, roping, and driving cattle. You might even run into a client on the trail in the West leading a pack string, or carrying out an elk during the hunting season. We have sold horses for field hunting trials, ranch sorting and team penning, shooting, and endurance competitions.
What ever the customer does, they own valuable property, horses worth every penny of their investment. These horses are smooth gaited, sound minded, trustworthy and purposely developed for a variety of programs. Flying N has worked diligently to become a brand you can trust.
